3. User Obligations

3.1

Where the User fails to notify changes or comply with these Terms of Use, in particular with its obligations under this section 3, the User can be excluded from Scolary with immediate effect upon reasonable notice. The User's right to use Scolary ceases with the exclusion.

Apart from that, Users are obligated to comply with applicable law and rights of third parties when using Scolary and Contents of Scolary. In particular, Users may not:

  • Use offensive or defamatory content, irrespective of whether such content refers to other Users, our employees or any other persons
  • Use pornographic, violating, abusive or immoral content or content that violates youth protection laws
  • Unreasonably harass other Users
  • Use content that is protected by law (e.g. copyright law, trademark law, patent law or design law) without being permitted to do so

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of Merck or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.
